Papertake weekly challenge "Scrap This"

Oh it has been so long since I last posted I got blogger withdrawals.
Craige's pesky spotties have finally gone and he is back to school, YIPPEE.
Poor little bugger, nothing worst than seeing someone you love just not feeling well and you aren't able to do anything to make them better. Never mind he is all better now and I'm able to catch up on the housework and of course plant my bottom on my craft chair.
So here is my entry into the Papertake craft challenge.
The theme this time is "Scrap This" you had to use all scrap which suited me fine as I have a huge folder of scrap papers just waiting to be used.
As you have probably guessed all the paper/card stock is from my stash including the letters. The image is by High Hopes and coloured with my favorite water coloured pencils. I have added a bit of ink to the edges and some chalk to the background to make it stand out a little more.
Well I'm heading back to my table and I hope to be back later with another entry.
Enjoy your day what ever it is that you are doing
OOPS I just noticed my A in birthday has dropped, must fix that.

  1. Oh love your card, your pirate has great character. How funny I have just made a pirate card for a crop I went to yesterday with Heidi.
    Kind Regards

  2. Great card - your pirate looks fab! Thanks for joining us for the PTW challenge!

  3. So lovely to hear your son is better and back to school.
    Fantastic card, love the image.
