Sketch Saturday

Hi there Everyone, So sorry I haven't been around much it is school holidays here in The Land Down Under so I have been entertaining the kiddies and to top it off my daughter has been sick with a chest infection. Poor little bugger sounds as though she had a frog caught in her throat, and has been up most nights during the last week from coughing. Hopefully she is on the mend Doc. Marc gave her some anti-biotic's so should be feeling better soon. So enough about that, here is my entry for the sketch over at Sketch Saturday I just hope I'm not to late in posting this. I have used my fab new Tilda stamp coloured with my water coloured pencils and aqua brush, just love using them. All my card stock is from my stash. The stickers are from our local shop and the ribbon is from Spotlight. The floral card has glitter all the way through it, unfortunately it is a little hard to photograph. So I hope you like it and fingers crossed I might get another card finished today if the ankle bitters keep playing lego for a little while longer. Take care Maree

Anyways I have used my Tilda stamp, isn't she a cutie pops, coloured with my wonderful water coloured pencils added a caramel brown edge using my Stampin' up stamp pad. The patterned paper is by Basic Grey called Ambrosia. The flowers and the jaffa coloured jewelled brads by Kaiser craft. The chocolate brown card stock and the gold ribbon are from my stash and the " wish" charm is new but I can't remember who made them, I throw away the packet before I had a look, so sorry.
Fingers crossed I will be back today with another card for a challenge.

Secret Crafter Challenge #27

Howdy everyone,
Hope you are all enjoying you Easter break. I am, the twins are playing wii, Leigh-Anne is in her room doing what ever it is that 11 year olds do, Stuart is on the couch being a lazy butt and me, well you guessed it, making some cards YIPPEE.
I made this card for my friend and her hubby who are celebrating their anniversary on the 24Th of April. If the sketch looks familiar you would be spot on, I used the fantastic sketch thats over at the Secret crafter. As soon as I saw this sketch I knew I had to use it. But being the goose that I am didn't read the fine print and have used the wrong colours for the challenge, oh hum, but loved the sketch so used it anyway.
I have used a Polly craft stamp called Cherish and coloured these cute little elves with my water coloured pencils. The Rhinestones are made by The Paper Mill. All the card stock is from my never ending stash and the flowers are by Kaiser craft as is the ribbon.
I hope you like my little creation and I hope to be back later with the same sketch but right colours.
Enjoy your day

Sketch Saturday challenge # 45

Well it took me a while to get here but I have finally completed a card for a challenge YIPPEE! and here it is.
This is my entry for the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. I have used a Polly craft stamp, forgive me please I can't remember it's title it is one of the woodland elves, I have coloured it using my watercolour pencils and added a bit of shimmer to the background with my kaiser craft shimmer chalks to take the starkness of the white away. The card stock, as usual, is from my stash and so is the ribbon. The rhinestones are from the Paper Mill. The flowers are also done by Kaiser craft, and as every crafter knows you just never seem to have the right colour, so I have used my watercolour pencils to create just the right shade.
Well I'm going to do some blog hopping now to see everyones creations.
Take care.

Pollycraft Challenge #12

G'day everyone,
We are having a beautiful day here in Perth Australia the sun is shinning and the kiddies are out playing in the sunshine while they can cause in another few weeks it will probably be raining and in will come winter.
This is my entry for the great challenge over at Pollycraft this fortnight. The theme is Downloadables.
Talk about spoilt for choice there are so many nice ones, but I decided on this one, Milly what a sweetie. I have coloured her with my Sugar Loaf markers and give her a little sparkle in her wings with my Kindie Glitz. All the papers were from my stash and the flowers and the jewelled brads are both from Kaisercraft.
Well I'm off to enjoy the sun too. I'm going to the AFL (Aussie Rules Football) and watch my team hopefully win the game, fingers crossed. Don't forget to checkout the Pollycraft site they have some really beautiful stamps and downloadables
Take care everyone and I hope it is sunny where ever you may be.

I"MMMMM BBBAAAACK

Hello it's me again, WOW two in one day impressive huh!
This is the wedding card I made for our Friends who will be getting married on the 17th of April.
I have stamped a swirl stampin' up image onto the acetate using a black staz-on ink and backed it with some pink Bazzill card but didn't stick it down so there are three "flaps" to the card.
The white card is also Bazzill and I cut the front shorter than the back and scalloped the edge. I then added some flowers (punched out with my trusty little Heidi Grace punch) down the side with some left over pink and jazzed them up with some rhinestones made by The Paper Mill. The champagne glasses are sticker made by Stickem'.
No rest for the wicked I'm now off to pack sports bags because the twins have Auskick (Aussie rules football) training straight after school.
Take care until next time

Stamp Something

Good morning every one hope the last week has treated you well,
Now that you have all picked yourselves up of the floor....lol, I know it's been a while, I have finally gotten around to do some cards.
This one is for the great challenge over at Stamp Something.
They have a wonderful sketch to follow.
I made this card for my friends Nan who has been very sick lately and had a dreadful experience whilst in hospital (sorry the picture is a little blurry).
I used a Tilda stamp, but I messed up while stamping the image so I had to chop of the balloons out and replaced them with a flower, and of course a little bling.
All the papers and card stock are from my bag of goodies and the image is coloured with my water coloured pencils and aqua brush.
I'm off now going to finish a wedding card and hopefully upload it later this afternoon.

Take care everyone
