Howdy!

Well girls this is my last posting for a while as we are off to warmer weather up north for a short holiday. YIPPEE !
We are leaving Saturday but with 5 people to pack for and a house to clean I know I won't get a chance to craft :(
But, before I go this is the card I made for my niece. Her birthday was a few weeks ago but because of not feeling the best I was unable to post it, so here it is.
I have used my Tilda stamp and coloured her with my water coloured pencils the card stock is from my stash the Flower rhinestones are by Kaiser craft, I think I bought them so long ago, and the gold lettering is from Spotlight. I have used my EK Success scallop punch for the edge. Everything is pink because this is her favorite colour.
Thank you so much for dropping by and I will be looking forward to dropping by all your blogs when I get back.
Take care everyone

Stamp Something Challenge

Good morning all,
I bet you all thought that I had dropped off the planet.....lol.
As you can see I haven't I have just been very busy working, cleaning house, sport, sport and more sport with the kids. I'm over my tonsillitis, thank goodness that was just yucky, so now I'm just trying to catch up on everything so not much crafting has been done. I have managed to do a few cards this is one of them. I did this one for my friends sister and it fits in perfectly with the challenge over at Stamp Something.
The colour theme this week is black and white and one colour. I haven't used an image on this one I decide to do something a little different. I have used my Birthday wishes stamp by Stamp-it and embossed it using Versa Mark and black embossing powder. The back and white paper are from the Glitter stack, the bling is from The Paper Mill and Kaisercraft and the rest from my stash.
Well that's it from me for now I'm off to take the twins to footy. I hope you all enjoy your day and I'm hoping to pop by every one's blog later this afternoon.
Thanks for stopping by

Update

Hi everyone, It has been so long since I was able to get back to the computer. My flu ended up being tonsillitis so I haven't been able to do any craft as I have been too sick, I have just got my voice back. So it's back to my normal routine now and hopefully I can head back to the craft table this Friday (going to work today and tomorrow). I hope everyone is fine and dandy and having a great week, and I hope to pop by in the next few days to see all your wonderful work. Take care and enjoy your day Maree xxx

Quick update

Hi Gals, Just thought I would give you a very quick update, Craige is fine the doctor that we saw, at the hospital, misdiagnosed Craige they weren't chicken pox. My regular GP, Doc. Marc said it was more like an eczema rash and that sorbelene cream will make it disappear. Low and behold it did, don't ya just love when Doc's get it wrong. So he is feeling 100% better and back at school. Me, on the other hand not so good. I still have the flu (I hope it's only the flu) and I'm off to see Doc Marc today, hopefully for some anti-biotics as it seems to be getting worse not better. I slept all night Monday night from 8.30 pm onwards and all day yesterday. I think I may have been awake for about 4 hours in total and then slept all the way through until 4.00 am this morning. Not good, lets hope the medications work. So I'm off back to bed for a snooze before heading down to the doctors surgery. Hope you are all doing better than me. Maree xxxx P.S: Heidi, I will email you in the next few days.

Stamp Something Challenge

Hey everyone,
First I want to thank everyone for all the get well wishes you really did brighten my day. I still have my cold but after getting though day 6 I'm hoping I'm over the worst of it.
Anyways that's enough moping, this is my entry for the great sketch challenge they have over a Stamp Something. I hope I'm not to late in entering, it has taken me nearly two days to complete my card because I haven't been able to bend my head forward with out having a little nose problem, if you know what I mean.....lol
I have used one of my favourite Tilda stamps. All the card stock is from my stash, it doesn't seem to get any smaller. The black patterned vellum is from Stamp-it and my little lady bugs, which I love, are from spotlight. The sentiment is a rub on by "Make it Personal" .
I'm off now to have a warm cuppa (cup of tea) and put my slippers back on my tootsies are cold.
Take care and I will hopefully pop back tomorrow

one stop craft challenge

Hi Girls,
Well it's the long weekend here in Australia, and it's a beautiful sunny day, but I'm inside full of the flu and feeling a little miserable.
I did manage a card last night for the challenge over at One Stop Craft Challenge. The theme , let's here it for the boys.
This is just a simple card, but it worked out quite well I think, I have used a digi stamp by Dustin Pike coloured in with my water coloured pencil and I have used some Glossy accents on his wings and belly to give him a wet look. The card stock and the kite sticker are from my stash and the sentiment is done on my trusty computer.
Well I'm off to sit on the couch and keep feeling sorry for myself.
Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunny days we all seem to be having.
